Challenge

No possibility of controlling air volume by individual zones, as the VAV system serves the entire floor rather than individual rooms or work zones.

Solution

Installation of Smart VAV controllers on all supply and extract air terminals within the designated zone. Introduction of demand-based air distribution using the average CO₂ level collected from sensors installed at the extract air terminals.

Result

Permanent reduction in the supply air volume from the previous level of 720 m³/h to 120 m³/h, with temporary increases during periods of higher occupancy. CO₂ levels maintained within the range of 430–800 ppm.
